We had a lovely day with the tour of Sonoma Square. The lunch was delicious, the history interesting, and we returned to several of the venue's that our guide, Mia, pointed out. An interesting and engaging way to visit Sonoma and find some "local" places.

A nice start to a Sonoma getaway

We were six women aged 31 to 65 and we all really enjoyed this tour. It was a nice mix between history, food, and drinks. It was also a nice mix of light bites and heavier small plates. There were two other couples who joined us and even the men enjoyed themselves.

This is how our tour is described on the booking site: "The Sonoma Food Tour experience takes guests on a guided journey of local eateries, all within the quaint walking environment of the Sonoma Plaza. You’ll get to taste Sonoma's regional cuisine, California Mexican food, local favorites, cheeses, olive oil, chocolates and more. Each yummy tasting is served from locally-owned and operated restaurants, eateries & shops. You will explore Sonoma, California all while gaining knowledge about its history, culture and architecture, at the same time savoring the appetizing culinary selections." We had a wonderful time on our food tour with Abby!(even in the rain!) Fun, educational and informative. All of our stops were outstanding. Bought some cheese! The Mexican restaurant had an amazing dish! We need to get the recipe! Never had an Olive tasting before! That was interesting! Food at the wine bar was great and our last stop was to sample chocolate. Who doesn't like Chocolate! We highly recommend this tour! It broke up the week with a nice walking food with food.

Abbey was a great tour guide. We tasted delicious food, sipped yummy wine and margaritas, and learned a little Sonoma history along the way. Restaurant, winery and activity suggestions were a great bonus.
