Dear Bethany_ D,
Thank you for reviewing our Catacombs tour. We rely on our guests' direct experience to aways improve and are always grateful for their comments, both positive and negative.
We are very pleased to read you found our guide to be very passionate, even though he gave you the impression of providing "dubious information". As we work only with licensed professionals, we strongly believe there must have been a misunderstanding and would be more than happy to look into it if you were so kind as to provide us with further details.
We are very sorry to hear he was lacking group engagement and management skills which, together with high quality earpieces, we agree are essential to make your time with us as enjoyable as possible.
This is the first time we receive such comments, so I personally forwarded them directly to both our Guide Management and to Operations teams, to make sure they are promptly addressed.
About the photos, we usually instruct our staff to point out interesting / unique stops, as most group members find them great occasions to create memories to bring back home with them. Of course background should always be provided when possible, as there might be spots that do not bear any paricular historical importance, but just make "perfect pictures".
Finally, we are terribly sorry you found the rest of the group to be composed by "abnoxious americans". We love all our guests and believe them to be all unique in their own way, although we cannot guarantee they will all get along.
While it is normal to find some people more interesting than others, we do not believe it fair to generalize and extend such a comment to an entire population.
Again, we are very disappointed you were not satisfied with our service, and hope that if you ever visit any other location we serve you will give us another try.
Sincerely,
