Die Gärten und das Schloss wurden. Schief schön. Unbedingt sehenswert! Allerdings war das Tempo der Tour für ältere Menschen zu anstrengend. Es war schwer Schritt zu halten und viel zu laufen, angefangen mit dem Weg zum Treffpunkt. Ich fand die Tour zu teuer für das, was wir bekommen haben.

There is a lot to see at Versailles and we don't want you to miss anything, but our guides do also want to ensure that everybody is comfortable during their visit, please don't hesitate to tell them if you need to stop. Ich war schon einmal in Versailles, aber wenn dies mein erstes Mal wäre, würde ich sagen, dass es enttäuschend war. Wir treffen eine nette Reiseleiterin am Treffpunkt, die uns nach Versailles geführt hat. Als wir ankamen, wurde uns gesagt, dass jemand anderes drinnen sprach. Sie war sehr nett, aber sie war überall. Sie sprach und ging so schnell. Es war, als hätte sie eine Rede auswendig gelernt und wenn sie für den Plan geändert wurde, wurde sie nervös. Sie war überhaupt nicht engagiert, ging so schnell, dass sie einen Teil der Gruppe verlor, da wir sie weder sehen noch hören konnten, und die Kopfhörer funktionierten nicht richtig, was es schwierig machte, sie überhaupt zu hören. War nicht wirklich beeindruckt von diesem Reiseleiter.

Was such an amazing experience. The palace was amazing. The tour guide ( I apologize for forgetting her name ) was wonderful and full of knowledge with a great sense of humor thrown in. That Versalles is beautiful. The guide rushed the tour, walking too fast, talking too fast, not letting us take pictures because she was rushing us. Viator misrepresented that the tour included the magical fountain and lights. This was NOT included and was an extra cost. Viator needs to clarify this. Viator needs to inform that this tour is not for people that have problems walking.

We are sorry to read your review and that you were unhappy with your tour. Please don't hesitate to tell your guide if you feel they are walking to fast, they all want to ensure that all our guests are as comfortable as possible. We think perhaps you have got mixed up with what happens in the gardens, and what you bought. During the daytime on weekends and some Tuesdays from April 1 through Oct 31, the fountain shows are on twice a day. We have timed our tours very carefully to ensure that our guests are in the gardens at exactly the right time to see the fountains. They are not all switched on at the same time and the guides know exactly where you need to be and at what time to see the best ones. On Saturdays in the summer months, after the gardens have closed in the evening and everybody has been evacuated, there is a separate event which requires a separate ticket, which is the Night Show, with fountains and fireworks. We do not sell or advertise the night show, our full day tour ends at 5pm and we leave to head back to Paris. Should you wish to stay on and see the night show, you can of course stay in Versailles and buy a separate ticket from Versailles Spectacles to go back in when the night show starts. It is very beautiful and we recommend seeing it, but we don't sell it. We hope that clears up the difference for you, and that you had a great stay here in Paris.

Great tour. Meet up to take the train was easy to find and Oliver was super helpful. The process to get into Versailles was easy and quick. Cecile was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable. Overall worth the money and time.

Great tour - use a bathroom first!

GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE YOU GO TO THE MEETING PLACE. There isn’t anyplace to go near the meeting spot, in the station, or on the train. I was miserable. I used the bathroom at the station in Versailles and it was really gross. Our tour guide at Versailles was very knowledgeable and friendly. She did a great job! I gave 5 stars because the tour was really good and the process of getting there and back was easy. I just wish they would have warned us about the bathroom situation.

Indeed the local trains here in Paris do not have bathrooms on them, we do a bathroom stop as soon as you get to the palace but you do need to be ready to do the journey without one. This Palace is definitely worth the trip! There is a guide that gets you to the palace and then a guide that takes you around telling you all the history of the place. It is a beautiful time. Definitely a must see if you’re in Paris.
