Perfect way to see South Portland and it’s lighthouses

The weather yesterday couldn’t have been any better for this bike tour of south Portland. Louise was a great tour guide! The bikes were in great shape and easy to maneuver. I will say (at my husband’s suggestion) this is not for the faint at heart. There are hills and we kept a decent pace when we weren’t stopped at a lighthouse. (And we only go to 3 lighthouses, not 4. You see a 4th but it’s not an actual visit it it).
Why Bus When You Can Bike The Lighthouses!

We had a lovely time on this tour! The lighthouses featured were worthy of the ride, and it was a wonderful way to get up close and personal with the neighborhood of S. Portland. We came off of a cruise, and one can take a medium length walk to the tour, or take the city bus for $2.00. Easy, clear check in, bikes in excellent operating condition, and groups were manageable in size. Most of the tour is via bike path, or quiet streets. Visiting Portland Head Light by bike was just as much of a treat as the lobster roll. Allie was a terrific guide and brought personal touches to the tour. Loved the hi-viz helmets for the group! Great Day!

Our tour guide, Jake, was great. He had a lot of interesting, fun facts & made sure we were safe. Loved the lighthouses! Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Interests in lovely Portland, ME. The scenic bike ride through beautiful trails and parks made for a wonderful experience. The highlight was the Lobster Roll food truck stop at Fort Williams. Simply DELISH and the best lobster roll we’ve had on this trip!

This was a great excursion. They were able to accommodate us a day early due to the rain, and Steve, our tour guide, was awesome. Knowledgeable and happy to be there, despite being called in last minute to help. Thanks for helping to make our trip. It was one of the things we were really looking forward to, and it didn't disappoint.
