Our tour guide Arnie was awesome! He was friendly, fun and accommodating!!! And a great photographer, too!! This was a great tour!

Loved visiting Cadillac Mountain that is located within Acadia National Park. This is the rist place in all of the US to be touched by the sun's rays every morning for a certain part of the year. AJ our tour guide who is with Globe Trekkers and his brother Dennis was the BEST!

AJ was phenomenal!!! We had the pleasure of having AJ as our guide on Saturday, September 2nd. He was incredibly nice and patient. He took us on our adventure through Maine, including the swinging bridge, the tallest public bridge and up to Cadillac mountain. I mention these because I am extremely afraid of heights. He was very empathetic to my plight and always made sure I was doing okay -- even when my kids (adult kids, but my kids nonetheless) ventured beyond my own comfort zone for them. He even went out of his way and drove us to Stephen King's house on our way back...even provided a prop for the "just in case he is home and comes out"...He provided a good amount of snacks and drinks and his recommendation of Route 66 in Bar Harbor was on-point. Fantastic all around is what we have to say about AJ. Kudos to Dennis for giving us AJ as our guide. Thank you again. -- Sandra (mom), Kailene, and Julian

What a disappointing experience ! I knew we were in trouble when our guide arrived to pick us up in a little tiny Prius for a 2 hour ride to Acadia ( a very rough ride in the backseat).
There were what I think were animal scratches on the inside passenger doors, animal hair, dirty windows and the smell was not pleasant.
Our guide was nice but because the car was so noisy and he was very hard of earring it was hard to hear what he was saying and he couldn’t hear what we were asking him.
We were suppose to have a lobster dinner included which he keep insisting that we do when we got back to Portland not sure why because I thought the point was to have it somewhere on our trip route. Never did have dinner because we got back so late.
For the amount of money this private trip cost the transportation provided and the guide requirements need to step it up.

We are sincerely sorry for the experience you had. We will of course follow up with the guide to find out what happened, why the vehicle was not clean and why you were not treated to the Lobster Dinner in Bar Harbor or another town and instead asked to wait until you were back in Portland. We have issued you a partial refund and you should receive it with in 5-7 business days. Again, we do apologize for your experience, this guide has been receiving great feedback so what you described is very unexpected and out of character.

This was a fantastic tour through Acadia National Park! Our guide Arnie was fantastic and his knowledge of the area is unbelievable. The tour was flexible and Arnie made it an individualized experience. I am looking forward to taking another tour!

Arnie Hoffman our guide was amazing , he was very knowledgeable and experienced telling us all the history of Maine. The sites were beautiful . We experienced amazing fog, mist,sun ,wind in one day , He made sure we were comfortable and able to experience each site to the fullest !!! I am forever grateful and will definitely come back!!! What a great day ! From Thunder hole to the refreshing beach Thank you again !!!!

This was the best tour ever!!! My guide (AJ) was wonderful! It was like I was on a tour with a best friend!!! He accomodated and made adjustments that I needed to make in the trip, and made sure that I got to see everything!! He knew so many facts about the history and the amazing sites!! And he made everything fun!! I couldn't have asked for better!! He even gave me tips about other things my friends and I werew planning to do the next day! And, he took all kinds of pictures of the sites we were seeing and sent them to me. He was the best!!! This was a beautiful trip, and I am so glad I took this tour!! A truly incredible experience that I highly recommend to anyone!!!

My wife and I had a great day on this private tour. No cramp conditions with strangers. No set timetables or being rushed. Private is the way to go! Our guide Mimi was very accommodating, informative, and conversational. Highly recommend this tour.
