Tour was fine but overpriced at $37 per person. Was given an $8 refund because tour was shortened for some reason. In the definition it said tour was about 2 hours but was shortened to 50 minutes. I feel the refund should've been more than $8.

I am sorry the Highlights Route and the lower price did not meet your expectations. The regular route is 1.5 hours long and so we believe the $8 lower price is reflective of the value given and received.

Great Tour Guides

We had a great experience on the busses. Both of the guides we encountered were pleasant, knowledgeable and made the experience really fun. A special shout out to Eric, our last driver. My daughter left her phone on the bus. It was after hours and we couldn't get a hold of anyone from the bus service office, and we were leaving for Utah the next morning. Eric found the phone and personally took charge of it, called us, and agreed to bring it back to Portland the next morning, on his day off no less, to make sure we got the phone back. We were blown away by his generosity and kindness! He is just one example of the genuine consideration that we felt from many Oregonians on this trip, and he personally diverted disaster for my daughter (can't live without the phone!!) Thank you, Gray Line and Eric the Driver!!

Our driver was fun tho listen to. He was knowledgeable and attentive. His corny "dad jokes" were pretty cute. He is also an excellent and courteous driver, something not always found in other city's hop on hop off tours.

Great way to get your bearings in a new city

TWO Excellent tour guide drivers....we thoroughly enjoyed them both. We did the full circle before deciding where we most wanted to get off. We then did two stops before arriving back at our hotel. Lunch at the river side was fabulous! The bus is clean and on time at each stop. It was a Perfect way to spend our first day in Portland .... and we helped to support Breast Cancer research as well.

They only run every hour. They let us wait for 30 minutes for the trolley to go downtown, only to announce they wouldn’t be going to City downtown stop. Day before didn’t go to the zoo or Arbetorum stops. Drove right by us at one stop. We bought a two day pass and just used cabs the second day. Use transit. Much better.

I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. A demonstration downtown (with full riot police presence) met it was best to avoid that area as to not risk injury to guests or damage to trolleys. The day before the road in upper Washington Park was shut down due to some filming. We have no control over demonstrations or road closures. Wish we did. I doubt you got much of tour in a cab or on a transit bus.

if you arrive outside summer just forget it I paid for 2 days but at the end i just used once because you have to wait 1h between and its start at 10am to finish at 4pm. I used to do this kind of bus when I travel but its not great

Most of our guests find one hour between trolleys about the right time for the attractions at each of our stops. I am sorry that you did not see the value in that timing. Our schedules are very clear, handed out with each ticket purchase and forecasted and tracked by GPS. This allows the guest to make the best use of their time at each stop they choose.

This is a fine tour of Portland, but pickup every hour is too long for some of these stops. Most of these tours in other cities pick up every 15 minutes. Otherwise, the bus was clean, Eddy was a good guide and driver and knowledgeable.

So, the driver stated that it was his first day. He was fantastic! I loved this tour my only regret is that I should have started earlier. I went to the Japanese Garden what a treat. It was so peaceful and serene. I wished that I had time to go to the rose garden. However, do 2 days as Portland is a great city to visit.

This is the best way to see any city. I was not only impressed by the trolley drivers knowledge of the area but their ability to be on time while dealing with city traffic. This tour also honored our voucher a day late. Very helpful to travelers who can not control mother nature.

Our tour guide was very sweet and somewhat knowledgable but mumbled and was difficult to understand. She often described something we should look at but then didn't clearly let us know where to look. She pointed out the come to the white man statue but didn't explain anything about it. I googled the story behind it and it was actually really interesting. She often repeated herself which was distracting.
