Good morning from Living Tours,
Dear Gary,
We are very grateful for your feedback regarding your experience in our Porto City Tour Full Day. We are very sorry to hear that the tour didn't go through your expectations.
Regarding the languages (English and Spanish), we do publicize that our tours can be bilingual. At Living Tours we are committed to providing excellent hospitality service and our staff are trained regularly to do that. We regret to know that you did not have this perception with our tour guide on this tour.
Concerning the cellar, due to the visit being done in two different languages, individuals are divided into groups. In some cases, simultaneous visits for both groups are not possible and some waiting time between them can be expected. The cellar has a reception where the guests can wait for their visit comfortably or, on the other hand, can be outside enjoying the outstanding views of the historical center of Porto, classified as a UNESCO site.
We are sorry to hear that the food at our Portuguese restaurant wasn’t to your liking. The restaurant is a famous spot in Porto to get the typical Francesinha (one of the options) and that’s the main reason that takes us there. To be clear, we also offer a traditional codfish dish. The restaurant is flexible giving the option of steak if the guests prefer something more common.
Lastly, regarding the cruise, we are sorry to know that your experience did not meet your expectations.
Our Tour guide has experience and we don’t review her in your comments. She already did the Tour several times and she’s familiar with the cruise procedures. Thank you for your alert. We will investigate in order to understand if we have to give some more training to our Tour guide.
We will love to underline that our Tour it’s impossible to do in just a couple of hours. Our company pick-up is close to two of the highlights of the UNESCO historical center: S. Bento Train Station, considered one of the 16 most beautiful Train Stations in the world, according to Travel and Leisure magazine, and the Cathedral that was built in the place where the city was born. These two places are part of our Tour (it couldn’t be different). The Tour includes, as well, a panoramic Tour, a visit to a cellar, a Traditional Lunch, a Cruise of 1 hour in the typical Rabelo boat and a panoramic tour with a stop at the seaside and modern quarter where you can see buildings from three Pritzker awarded architects.
Again, we are very thankful for your comment since they help us improve our services. We will take your detailed feedback into careful consideration.
Best regards,
Living Tours Team
