Etwas enttäuschende Tour. Joana, die Führerin, war nett genug, aber das Essen war aus qualitativer Sicht ein Hit und Miss. Wir hatten zwei Haltestellen, an denen keine Getränke inbegriffen waren. Jeder, der diese Reise unternimmt, muss wissen, dass Sie in der Nähe von 3 laufen werden. 5 Meilen. Das war schwierig für meine 80-jährigen Eltern. , und wäre vor der Buchung gut zu wissen gewesen. Die gesamte Reise schien sehr unorganisiert.

As noticeable from other reviews, most of our previous customers have truly enjoyed the tour, and it makes us sad to hear that you did not have the same experience. We assure you that all of our partner restaurants are amongst the best in the city and provide quality food, and care deeply about their service. Regarding drinks, yes, they are not included in all the stops. In the Inclusions section you can see that only drinks that are a part of our pre-established menu are included and most of our guests were happy with the quantity of drinks provided. However, we will take this suggestion into consideration, and we thank you for it. When it comes to miles of walking, we assure you that our route is not even close to 3.5 miles, as this would really be too much for our guests and not comfortable at all. All restaurants are located in the city center and are only a few minutes walk from one to another. Thank you so much once again for your review, we are truly sorry to hear it didn’t meet your expectations and will take it very seriously. Viel Spaß, viel Abwechslung und eine perfekte Einführung in die Küche von Porto

Joana war eine großartige Reiseleiterin. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe von vier Personen, also hatten wir ihre volle Aufmerksamkeit! Sie war enthusiastisch und kannte sich sehr gut mit allen Aspekten der lokalen Geschichte, Kultur und insbesondere mit Essen und Wein aus. Wir gingen abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade und besuchten mindestens sechs Orte, um köstliche lokale Spezialitäten und verschiedene Weine zu probieren, einschließlich einer Portweinprobe. Es hat großen Spaß gemacht und es ist eine gute Idee, mit leerem Magen zu beginnen - Sie müssen an diesem Tag nichts mehr essen. Eine sehr gute Führung.

Wir haben diese Tour mit Melissa gemacht und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Sie war so gut informiert über die Gegend, Fakten über Porto und natürlich über alle Speisen, die wir probiert haben. Unsere Favoriten waren der Käse, das Streetfood-Sandwich und die Muscheln. Ich kann diese Tour sehr empfehlen, besonders mit Melissa!

The food was very good. The guide was sweet, would have liked more descriptions of food. Namorado place didnt know we were coming, gave us food, we did not know what it was, the place was very hot, asked for water and the propriator never talked with us or asked anything. They gave us 2 bottles for 9 people and had to pay for it.The first place was best in service and food. the second had great food as well.

Didn't get much value for money

Our tour consisted of meeting our guide Sasha then walking to 3 restaurants for two tapas courses each, followed by a port wine tasting and a coffee & pastry. Overall we had a good time, Sasha was very friendly and helpful, however we did not learn much about Portuguese cuisine or get to sample many foods. We also only got a free drink at one restaurant, it was tap water or pay for your own everywhere else. Sasha seemed confused by this. It seems the restaurants can serve whatever they want on a given day and the even the guide doesn't know what we'll be served until we arrive. We don't blame the guide for this, the tour company should have a better agreement with the restaurant in advance. We also toured on a Sunday when many restaurants were closed and options were limited. It sounds like other days are much better experiences.

A good way to see Porto, but beware of out of pocket costs

For the most part, we really enjoyed this experience. It was lovely walking around Porto and we were able to see a good amount of the city in our tour. Our tour guide Jorge was friendly. The only thing to keep in mind is that we did this tour on a Sunday and things tend to be closed on Sundays in Porto. Also, most of the places we visited did not include alcohol, so we found ourselves paying out of pocket at each place. We also felt that some of the restaurants we visited were a little chaotic and not well organized. For example, at one restaurant we didn’t even get offered a drink with our meal. All that being said, we enjoyed eating our way through Porto, learning more about the city, and connecting with others who were on our tour.

But the selection of the food needs to be reviewed and improved upon in terms of quality. Considering ticket price per person, Higher value items can definitely be offered.

Everything was wonderful. We got absolutely soaked in the rain but it didn't spoil the most amazing tour. Claudia, our guide, was informative, interesting, attentive and entertaining despite being cold and wet. When she asked for a favourite food and venue I couldn't choose one, I had to choose them all!

We enjoyed this walking food tour because it gave us the experience of eating the food the locals eat and restaurants that are traditional for the locals. We tasted some the cheeses, beers, seafood and meats from this area.
