Wonderful food tour

We did the food tour the very first night we arrived in morocco. It was a perfect time because it gave us a familiarity with mini Moroccan dishes. Mohamad explained every dish thoroughly. Come hungry for you will have plenty to eat and then stop for dinner.

This was a great experience! Our tour guide was amazing! Not only was he personable, but he was also knowledgeable. He gave us valuable history of Rabat and the food and traditions of the area. And make sure you come hungry. I've done food tours before in other countries and it was just a few samples of food. But with this tour not only do you sample many different local treats, you end the night with a full blown meal. It was a fun experience!

Omar was an amazing guide for this food tour. Definitely come hungry to this tour. We sampled pastries, olives, sardines, potatoes, and other goodies before heading to lunch. He told us about the importance and traditions of each food and all about the markets and Medina. Next was a beautiful lunch with multiple salads/appetizers and four main dishes to try. The tour continued to the Kasbah des Oudayas and ended with coffee, tea ,and more pastries. It was a lovely half day with an amazing guide that loved to share his Moroccan food.

Hacham was a great tour guide — personable, knowledgeable, and flexible. The tour started with olives in the old medina, included about 5 other tastings, and ended with Moroccan tea following a a three-course lunch of salads, beef tagine, and couscous at Dar Medina. We not only learned about the foods, but also about the history of Morocco. Exceeded our expectations!

Great food tour! It was fun walking through the market and seeing where our food was from and also buying part of our meal then. We had SO much food and a great variety. It was interesting and inviting to be welcomed into their home to share this meal. This was a great introduction about life in Morocco!

We had a lovely food tour with Mohammed. It was TOO much food! First we tasted approximately 5-6 sweet and savory dishes around town. Then we had a full multi-course lunch. And then coffee/dessert by 5pm. We basically had to be rolled down the street. Mohammed was so fun, helpful and knowledgeable. Don't eat before you go on this tour!!

Un grand merci à notre guide qui a su nous faire partager la gastronomie marocaine au coeur de la cosmopolite ville de Rabat, au sein d'un petit groupe de 7 personnes. Petit conseil pour cette visite Food Tour, évitez de prendre un petit déjeuner trop copieux !!! Nous avons pu découvrir avec plaisir les points d'intérêts de Rabat tout en dégustant des spécialités diverses et variées toutes aussi délicieuses les unes que les autres. Seules, nous n'aurions pas peut- être pas osé goûter toutes ces gourmandises. Et que dire du repas de midi: tajines, couscous.. Tout était exquis. Nous avons fini notre visite sur le port où nous avons dégusté des pâtisseries achetées lors de la journée, le tout accompagné d'un délicieux thé à la menthe.
