Wir liebten David, unseren Reiseleiter, und den wunderschönen Tag, an dem wir zu so vielen spektakulären Sehenswürdigkeiten gereist waren. Ich hätte unserer Reise 5 Sterne gegeben, aber die Ventilatoren in unserem Bus funktionierten nicht und es wurde etwas stickig und warm, bis David die obere Luke öffnete, um uns während der Fahrt eine frische Brise zu bieten.

Der Fahrer, Tony, war großartig. Er hielt an einem extra versteckten Wasserfall an, als das Wetter in Vik zu schlecht zum Reisen wurde. Kleiner Bus bequem und gerade genug Zeit, um Wasserfälle und schwarzen Strand zu sehen.

Wir warteten 45 Minuten lang mit ungefähr 50 anderen Leuten an der Abholstation. Jede andere Tour holte ihre Passagiere außer uns ab. Ich kam schließlich zurück ins Hotel, um meine E-Mails zu überprüfen, und stellte fest, dass die Tour abgesagt worden war.

Der Fahrer war großartig, er hat uns viel über das Aufwachsen auf der Insel erzählt und versucht, so viel wie möglich einzupacken, aber erwarte nicht, dass er pünktlich zurück ist. Die Leute kommen immer zu spät zum Bus, was dazu führt, dass wir eine Stunde zu spät in die Stadt zurückkommen. Keine Schuld der Fahrer, nur anderer Leute im Bus. Größtenteils eine tolle Tour.

Tolle Tour mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Besonders der Gletscher ist atemberaubend. Anna, unsere Führerin, war brillant mit Fakten und Geschichten auf dem Weg. Wir hatten viel Zeit an jedem Standort. Wirklich empfehlen.

Die Landschaft war spektakulär, der Reiseleiter kenntnisreich und unterhaltsam, aber der Transport war miserabel. Die Tour sollte 14 oder weniger sein, es waren 19 Personen auf der Tour. Wir waren im Van vollgepackt. Einer der Sitze war kaputt und es gab stundenlanges Fahren - sehr unbequem. Sehr enttäuscht, da wir diese Tour speziell gebucht haben, da sie als Kleingruppentour beworben wurde.

Better than Golden Circle

Wonderful! I have traveled with my two kids and the tourist guide/driver (blond funny guy in their late 40s) was so kind and considerate. We go with enough pace and time to see four places on time. He told all the tips, what to expect, best spots and arrange the visit depends on the weather. Bring raincoat, windproof and waterproof clothes and shoes. If you are traveling with kids, have any disabilities or want a personalized tour, this is the way.

The South Coast tour is a definite must! Our tour guide Baldwin (better than Kevin LOL) was very knowledgeable about everything, he is very experienced and has accumulated all the answers to people’s questions through the years! Very relaxed and laid back tour. The glacier was a good hike, the beach was a good place to see puffins and the waterfalls were impressive! Check out the rainbows in the pics. I should have done this tour before the Golden Circle! It sets the bar higher!

Picturesque tour with a lovely puffin surprise

The most memorable part of this tour was the extra stop the driver-guide Carlos did for us - to see puffins closer than usual. Thank you so much, Carlos! The tour is very good as the all scheduled stops are picturesque places that one must visit. Carlos explains very good, provides proper indications and clear instructions, moreover is a knowledgeable guide!

Very knowledgeable guide. Baldwin was not only friendly and accommodating, but he went the extra mile with two “extra “ stops and even guided us himself into see the hidden waterfall (one of the extra stops and a highlight of the trip)!! You won’t be disappointed with this your!

This trip was really good! Our guide Helly was very knowledgable and friendly! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars only is because of the mini bus which seemed to be made for midges not normal size people!
