Hi, I am confused by your review, you saw a whale yet you are saying there are no whales here at this time of year.
I looked at the captain's log and we found two whales that tour, and on the morning tour, we found minke whales and humpback whales. We were the only company that found them that day because our spotters are so talented, but everyone finds whales all year as you can see by all the five-star reviews.
Today for example - Oct 8th - On the trip this morning we had two humpback whales diving under the boat, minke whales, and white-beaked dolphins.
You also seem to be disappointed at seeing the back of a whale. Which bit of the whale did you expect to see?
The yacht is built to cross the Atlantic so is super stable, reducing the chances of seasickness, so much so that we remember when people are because it is a novelty to us. There were no notes in the captain's log for anyone being seasick that day, but the ocean affects everyone differently, so we have free sea sickness tablets on board.
We received great reviews from other people that were on the same tour you were on. If you come back to Reykjavik you are welcome to try again with us, even if you think our 112ft...multimillion-dollar yacht...that sadly you don't believe is worthy of the title super.
All the best,
Sea Trips
