This was the last activity we did in Salem and our whole group unanimously agreed that it was the best thing we did on our trip! Our guide, Vijay, was so warm and knowledgeable and relayed the information in a captivating way. We loved being able to sit in authentic period furniture in a room lit only by candlelight as Vijay provided historical context for the Salem witch trials and life in the 1600s in Salem. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect tour. It was quick and small but we learned so much! Rachel was absolutely amazing and made every aspect of the tour interesting. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to step away from the busy parts of Salem.

Out of all of the tours I took in Salem I would have to say this one was my favorite. It was intimate and informative. I loved how interactive it was. Our guide was knowledgeable and inviting. Don’t sleep on this tour go ahead and book it!

Best tour of a historic home

This was by far the best tour of a historic home in Salem in all the years I have been visiting. Our guide Rachel was amazing and very informative. She pointed out the unique characteristics of the home and also invited us to have tea in the home!! Comes with your experience there. We will be back again in the future to stay in the bed and breakfast portion of the home for sure!

Having the opportunity to sit in such an historic home, drink tea and hear about it's history was fantastic. I am traveling from Australia with my daughter and loved this. You could really feel the home by sitting and taking it in rather than just walking through as most tours do .

We had such a good time visiting Daniels House. We took our kids, 9 & 15… they enjoyed learning about the Salem history and exploring the actual house. Being allowed to be hands on while in the home really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and offered us unlimited info. Our kids were very interested in the home & to feel + see how the homes were constructed back in the day, just phenomenal. This home has been kept in amazing condition considering it is one of the 10 original homes built in Salem. Really makes you feel like your in that day and age when inside. Sooooo cool! If you are looking for a welcoming and intimate learning experience this is definitely a tour not to be missed when in Salem.

I absolutely loved this hidden gem of Salem, a real authentic tour of one of the only buildings still standing from 1600s Salem. Vijay our tour guide was most knowledgeable and you could tell he really loves history and what he does. Highly recommend!
