Tolle Aussicht und Besichtigung der Treppe. Viele Möglichkeiten für tolle Bilder. Unser Reiseleiter Greg war sehr freundlich und kannte sich in der Gegend gut aus. Nach der Tour ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang, um den Rest des Tages im Golden Gate State Park zu genießen.

Die beste Wanderung, auf der ich je war! Ich war schon auf vielen Wandertouren, das war das Beste. Greg war der perfekte Gastgeber, gut vorbereitet, offensichtlich hat Greg eine große Liebe zur Stadt. Er war begeistert davon, Wissenswertes über die Stadt San Francisco zu teilen, was immer sehr interessant ist. Obwohl ich in der San Francisco Bay Area aufgewachsen bin, habe ich viel von Greg gelernt. Ich schätzte auch seine fürsorgliche und rücksichtsvolle Einstellung zu Sicherheitsmaßnahmen beim Gehen in der Stadt und seine Aufmerksamkeit für alle Ebenen körperlicher Fähigkeiten und Interessen. Er hatte sogar Wasserflaschen zur Verfügung und stellte jeder Person Proben von Sukkulenten aus seinem Hausgarten zur Verfügung, die sie als schöne Erinnerung an unser Wandererlebnis mit nach Hause nehmen konnten. Wir planen definitiv eine weitere Tour durch die Stadt Greg.

Greg ist ein absolutes Juwel eines Stadtexperten und Reiseleiters. Er weiß so viel über seine Stadt und gibt sein Wissen so gerne weiter. Die Tour ist die perfekte Art, den Vormittag/frühen Nachmittag zu verbringen. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind anders als alle, die ich alleine hätte finden können. Greg machte sogar mehrere Fotos, die er am Ende teilte. Dies war eine der besten Erfahrungen, die ich je gemacht habe. SF ist so glücklich, Greg zu haben.

The Best Views EVER

This walking tour is a great way to explore a unique part of San Francisco, learn a little about it's history, and see some amazing views! The pace was moderate, with occasional stops to catch your breath on the hills and steps. You could see the Farallon Islands, Point Reyes, Golden Gate Bridge, Robin Williams Tunnel, and all the skyscrapers clearly from the top of Turtle Hill. Amazing views, knowledgeable and friendly guide, and great experience!

Greg was great!!!! Very knowledgeable about the area. Even sent us all off with a succulent from his garden. The tour is so much more than just the stairs of which were amazingly beautiful. The view from the very top was outstanding! We were very fortunate to have a crystal clear day to add to the beauty.

Great cheery and informative guide. Fun to walk and talk with. It was such a joyful experience. This was one of my favorite walks around San Francisco. Normally I’m stuck in busier and crowded with people sites. Looking at the ocean and waves was like being in Hawaii. Such a reasonable price too! You will love the mosaic work.

Wonderful scenic stroll

We visited from out of town & were celebrating our anniversary. This was a great way to spend a few hours strolling the sunset area & see the beautiful scenic SF. Greg is tge perfect guide & gives a ton of history & tells of local culture. Everything was very organized, but casual. Would definitely do this again!

I took the Hidden Stairways of San Francisco tour and Greg was my tour guide. Greg is quite knowledgable about the history of San Francisco and he made the tour fun! Greg even took photos of me during the tour and sent them to me via my cell phone! Greg sent a short video to me after the tour to highlight my experience, that was a nice touch and completely unexpected! Greg helped me download the Muni app and gave me directions to take the cable car and trolley back to my hotel. I did what he said and had a great experience with public transportation! I highly recommend this tour with Greg if you can!

Greg was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable in all aspects not just the hidden stairs, but the history of San Francisco from the climate, to the architecture, and to the story of how San Francisco was a sand dune. He kept the entire tour interesting. I even loved how he incorporated the essence of the agriculture into the tour with having us smell different herbs and plants. Hidden Stairways

Greg was absolutely a wonderful guide on this Hidden Stairway tour. We had a scheduling conflict and wasn’t able to make it to our initial scheduled time and he was able to let us join another group at our convenience if we wanted. We didn’t know if it would work out but it did and I was so glad because we really enjoyed the walk around the Sunset district viewing these beautiful landmarks, homes, amazing succulents and other flowers he pointed out to us that were edible, and the beautiful skyline of SF and the Golden Gate Bridge which if your lucky enough the clouds won’t hamper your view. But hey that’s SF! Greg took all the pictures on his phone for everyone and sent them to us at the end including a video he made. He was hands down a terrific tour guide!

Greg was a superb tour guide. He was pleasant, kind and knowledgeable. Outside of touristy places and a wonderful way to get your exercise in. Make sure you dress in layers as it got really windy when we got to the highest point. Greg takes pictures and a video of the tour and sends to you within minutes of the completion. Can't say enough about this experience!

We had an awesome time at the Hidden Stairs walking tour! Greg was an awesome tour guide and we enjoyed learning about the history of the mosaic steps and some SF neighborhoods. The steps were gorgeous as well as the succulent gardens! Although it was VERY foggy and we missed out on the views, we had an awesome time. I also appreciated that Greg took pictures throughout the walk and sent them to us at the end of the tour. I definitely recommend this tour!!
