Tacos und San Jose Food Tour

Richardo war sehr informativ und hilfsbereit. Wir haben viel über die Menschen und das Leben der Cabo gelernt. Wir sind durch San Jose Del Cabo gelaufen und haben es geliebt. Wir haben die Lage des Landes und der Brain Taco war bueno!

Diese Tour war unglaublich! Wir gingen zu lokalen Restaurants. Wir waren anfangs etwas nervös, dass wir krank werden würden, aber unser Führer Francisco versicherte uns, dass das Essen sicher sein würde. Wir haben Burritos, Enchiladas und verschiedene Arten von Tacos gegessen! Wir hatten Margaritas und Bier und gingen Tequila probieren. Es gab so viel zu essen und wir teilten uns alle. Francisco gab uns gleichzeitig eine großartige Tour durch die Stadt. Er war ein großartiger Führer! Wir würden dies wieder tun, wenn wir nach Cabo zurückkehren. Meine Teenager haben es auch geliebt!

Little rushed with no context about the food.

I felt a little rushed as the tour ended 30 min before the advertised time. Only tried three different tacos which were good but no backstory on why we were trying these tacos? Maybe some context or history would have been nice. Usually on other food tours we would receive a little history of the restaurant and food that we would eat. Then we went to an ice cream shop and chocolate factory. These were just tourist areas that we went to which seemed a little fabricated. I have been on lots of food tours and this has been my least favorite.

We enjoyed a fantastic Thanksgiving Day wandering around town eating fantastic tacos! Our tour guide, Alan, was personable and fun. He made our experience unique. We enjoyed spending our afternoon with him. Highly recommend this way of seeing the city!

This foodie Tour was solid, but not the best we have been on. We had 3 different tacos on the walk from the Mercado Central and the Plaza Central. However we had better Tacos a day later at La Lupita near Town Square . We also dud tequila tasting, then had great ice cream and churros at a shop on the square. Ended at the Chocolate Factory. Our 2 guides were personable and knowledgeable. This was a good way to see town square prior to the Art Walk.

The guide Gilberto was excellent. Lots of fun and very knowledgeable about local and Mexican cuisine. Each place we visited had great tastings and at some stops the food was excellent. A great tequila experience to finish. .

It was enjoyable to visit the local eateries and sample the food. The food was delicious and plentiful. Also, tequila sampling was a nice surprise. Hector the Connector was a wonderful guide, very informative.

Had a phenomenal experience with “The Connector”. Took us off the beaten path to have some truly authentic Mexican cuisine that did not disappoint. By the end of the tour, you will be stuffed. The sope’ from Cocina Mexicana was elite, and the Marlin tacos from Abby’s are unlike anything I’ve ever eaten. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to experience the real San Jose’ del Cabo.

Fantastic taco food tour to visit places you likely would not have visited on your own. The food was great at each location. The guide (Hector the Connector) was super friendly, provided details at each stop and answered all our questions. Great tour and highly recommend!

Missed it Walking with the GPS - some inaccuracies. A challenge for the "directionally impaired" such as myself When I sought assistance, most of the local folks were unfamiliar with the Mercabo Restaurant and basically sent me back the way I came. Be sure you have sufficient pesos in you wallet and get a cab. It's very warm by mid morning. And I didn't want to delay others who got to the destination on time. Sorry I missed out on what seemed to be a fun experience.

We wish you could rate the GPS (not us), however, you booked for our tour in San Jose del Cabo and “Mercabo Restaurant” is in Cabo San Lucas (“San Jose del Cabo” and “Cabo San Lucas” are two different towns separated by 25 miles of distance).

My tour guide, Gilberto, was awesome. He knew the right places to go and knew a lot of people on the tour of San Jose del Cabo. We had a small group and therefore, I believe he was able to take us to areas that others don't have the opportunity to go to. A lot of walking but it was well worth seeing San Jose up close.

Gilberto was an excellent tour guide. He spent the day taking us to hidden, delicious restaurants with amazing tacos, a chocolate factory and ending the day with tequila tasting. Gilberto also was a local “historian”, telling us about some of the history of the indigenous people, the origins of margaritas and many amusing tales. On overall fabulous tour. Thank you Gilberto!!
