Not sure what this review is about or who the tour guide was and all guides are willing and able to answer questions.I will assume it was my tour and the first thing future guests need to know is that it is historically accurate and the theme is the spirit of the city. The first six months is well covered and we all do our best to tell the history chronologically, but the squares are 165 - 285 years old and the stories don't always come out that way. So names and dates are necessary for context and cohesion and our founder James Oglethorpe is the glue. The main ingredient of my storytelling is honesty and I hope that doesn't lessen the quality. As far as reading the signs in the squares we encourage that and of course they have names and dates and just give one story of thousands that happened in that square. It is simplistic but again not chronological. We encourage questions always on our tours and this can lead us down different history avenues.
I wish you would have asked questions and/or asked for refund. I will put this review with my " Best tour guide ever"and " Great Storyteller" reviews , which is not very helpful. If I haven't made the tour about the city ,then I haven't done my job. All things said and done now , I will tell better jokes and Vomit On. Rule 62 don't take yourself so damn seriously, that's my credo.
