We were switched from the Jerome history walk to the ghost walk die to staffing issues. Though informative it was hindered by the rapid fire style of the tour guide. We found the presentation to be rushed and lacking spontaneity. The content while interesting was contrived and lacked spontaneity. Unless you’re a hard core ghost hunter the value for money is not there.

Not exactly what we signed up for

First off, we had a unique experience with our tour and it was entirely caused by the tour guide/group. Our tour was to start at 1pm. We checked in early and came back at 15 til 1 as requested. At 5 til, our guide came and told us we were just waiting on the other person but she said she was on her way. At 5 after, they came back and said the same. She was just down the road. The other person in our group showed up 15 minutes late and was obviously intoxicated. She was very unsteady on her feet. This was supposed to be an hour long walking tour. We went a half block down and stopped in a parking lot where our guide covered some history. We walked back the half block and I think our guide realized she needed to speed things up to meet her schedule for the rest of the day. So she ran and got a van and the rest of our tour was done in a van. Driving to each spot, quickly getting out, looking and going to the next stop. I do believe our guide had the best of intentions, but we didn't get what we paid for...an hour long walking tour. Max time where we actually toured was 35-40 minutes. I would actually give this one another shot. I think Jerome is an incredible town and the history is very intriguing. It was just an unfortunate set of circumstances and the guide did the best she could.

Hello, we apologize for any delay. We try our best to keep on time and accommodate customers who may be running late without waiting too long and inconveniencing other guests. That’s why we gave the courtesy call before the scheduled tour time to be proactive in helping our customers make it on time. We are in peak season which means the small streets are backed up and when customers run behind it puts us behind which is why we encourage all customers to show up early. You were given an upgrade to a partial driving tour for the inconvenience of leaving a few minutes late. The upgrade was to allow more time at the locations. Although it may have felt like 40 minutes it was slightly over an hour in touring time. I apologize it wasn’t what you had expected. Most people enjoy the upgrade whenever it is offered. Had I known you’d rather walk the whole way, we could have continued the walking all the way through. Thank you for your honest feedback.
