Booked a trip to Norway by myself just so I can go on this hike and it did not disappoint! The pick up was very smooth, and we only had 6 people plus the guide. The drive to the trail head was about 2.5 hours but the side windows were covered so you can barely see the views :( but thank god the guide had a good taste in music and had a good playlist so the drive wasn’t too bad :) the hike was challenging but definitely manageable with a professional and very experienced guide. We picked wild blueberries and saw some sheep on the way down. On our way down it started to rain and it got quite slippery on the boulders even with the help of the chains. Our guide was very patient, he helped everyone safely down the mountain. After an 8 hour hike we finished the hike with some hot tea and coco. The hike itself was memorable enough but thanks to our guide, he made this experience even better! :)

Thoroughly enjoyed this hike with Hege! Very hard hike for a beginner but Hege was amazing and provided the support & guidance to successfully complete the hike!!

Incredible hike!! So worth going with a guide — it can be tricky even for an experienced hiker, and our guide showed us other viewpoints and photo opportunities that I certainly would have missed on my own. Loved it and our guide was so kind and caring even for hikers who struggled a bit!
Thrilling and Exciting

I am a 70 years old lady looking for a few thrilling hikes I can do before my body tells me no. The hike gave me a wonderful memory that will last for the rest of my life. Our guide was also super nice who helped the slow hikers and scared hikers the entire time.
Kjeragbolten - A tough bolt to crack!

The journey to Kjerag is a strenuous one and especially for people who are not accustomed to hiking regularly. Please do not consider it a moderate difficulty hike. You are required to walk 10-12 kms (roundtrip) and hike multiple steep mountains.
My experience was Lysefjorden Adventures (tour company) was nice and our guide was an experienced friendly guy. Will recommend them for sure.

Definitely not a hike for beginners, but the views are worth it if you’re in moderate physical shape. Hotel pickup was great, a beautiful ride through the mountains to get there and there is a toilet at the bottom of the mountain. Helga was a wonderful guide and I highly recommend this tour if you came to Norway to see the fjords like myself!

It was very nice trip, if you are around Stavanger this is a must do! the guide was competent and friendly. the only thing that i did not like, that the bus windows are covered so you cant see the road scenery which should be part of the experience

The pickup and drive to the parking lot was on time and confortable. The guide, Thor, was amazing and incredibly patient and helpful. There’s no way I could have accomplished this by my own. The hike itself is a must!

Unfortunately I didn't make it to the top. Climbing was not a problem for me, but the descent was very tricky. The ground is not nice to stand on and because of the rain it was very slippery. I am an experienced hiker and I had the right clothes with me, but even then Kjerag is very difficult to walk on. Although I consulted several sources, I would have liked more information beforehand about what makes Kjerag so difficult. Maybe I would have made it to the top if it was less slippery, but unfortunately we have no control over the weather.
