We enjoyed the tour with Mr. Hassan Coca-Cola as our guide. He is knowledgeable about the Tanger City and very attentive to our request. Overall, we had a good time with him.

Words can not begin to describe the experiences we have shared in Morocco (Tangier) I was a little nervous about going to Africa, but our Travel guide has been nothing short of incredible. He put us at ease from the moment he picked us up at the ferry. He showed us things a regular tour would not have shown us and educated us on the culture of the amazing people and the love they have for Americans. This part of the country is so beautiful and the people are friendly and so welcoming. Today we did everything from riding camels on the beach, to touring the cave of Hercules and seeing all parts of this beautiful city. I will be posting several pictures so you are able to see what we saw and experienced. If you ever decide to visit this country you must request Mohammad (Ali) He is a well respected knowledgeable man that will take great care of you.

My family and I booked a tour with Ali and his driver for a 4 hour tour of Morocco. We took the FRS Jet from Tarifa and Ali was waiting for us when we got off. Every detail of or tour was perfectly laid out and facilitated by him. They took us to many of the sites, we rode camels along the beach and had an amazing lunch at his favorite Cafe. He and his team went above and beyond at every step. We HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Had such a memorable time exploring Tangier with our guide Hamza. He was very kind, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history and culture of Tangier. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone new to Morocco and would happily refer our guide Hamza to anyone who wants to get a locals perspective. Additionally, later on that day, I realized I’d left my phone in the market, thinking it was gone for good, however Hamza met up with us later on to return it to me. Truly an amazing time!

This tour with Rida was excellent. We were picked up promptly at our cruise ship. We had a private tour guide & a driver. My husband has some mobility issues and they helped him navigate the narrow streets. We were not rushed & the attention was a plus. It was a lovely tour of a beautiful city. We stopped for crepes with mint tea, in a garden setting. We felt safe and got personal attention in an excellent tour. I would definitely recommend it. We also had lunch on our own in a local restaurant, which we enjoyed. I did not know what to expect but we were very happy we booked this tour through Viatour.

This tour was fabulous from beginning to the very end!! Ahmed was waiting for us with a sign as soon as we stepped off our ship. He and his driver took us to the caves, we rode a camel on the beach, saw beautiful mountaintop views, toured the city, the Kasbah, took us to the market, and was willing to do anything we wanted to do!! Very custom/tailor made tour with a great guide and driver. Highly recommend, one of our best tours we’ve ever done!

A Fantastic Day In Tangier

We can not say enough good things about our private tour with Lina Amrani. She was fantastic! We were met at our ship by she and her driver (in a very nice Mercedes van.) There was a bit of a mix up with the scheduling. Our tour was scheduled at 1:00. When we left the ship at 10:00 she and the driver were waiting for us. (They were told the tour was at 9:00 and so patiently waited for an hour! I was very impressed.) But this was lucky for us as we were with Lina until 5:30! She was very sweet and personable. Just a joy to be with. She was very professional and very knowledgeable of the area and it’s history. We had a great driving tour of the beautiful area and did all of the touristy things that made us happy. The camel ride was great fun! As well as stopping for mint tea and visiting Hercules Cave. We visited the Old Town which was fascinating. Lina took us to a lovely restaurant that she sometimes takes her mother to for dinner. I loved having a meal in an authentic local restaurant. It was really nice to just talk and get to know Lina while learning about the local culture. I absolutely recommend this tour and especially recommend Lina. You will be as impressed as we were!

A Beautiful Day In Tangier — Ali Is The Best!!

Booking a tour with Ali is the ONLY way to see Tangier for the first time. This was our first trip to Morocco (my husband, 6 year old son, and myself) and we honestly had no idea what to expect, as I added the day excursion during our visit to Southern Spain on a whim. Ali welcomed us with such warmth and kindness — and he treated us like family. Because this was a day trip (we arrived at 9am and had to catch the return ferry at 6pm), be prepared to hop from one popular spot to another, but don’t expect to feel rushed! Ali is part guide, part historian, and part driver — he offered a wrath of information, but also have you space to enjoy private moments with your fellow travelers. He also teamed up with wonderful guides/vendors who bring even more color and vibrancy to your visit. We LOVED every minute of our time in Tangier. The camel (actually a dromedary) ride was so much more than I expected — lasting a good 30 minutes along a beautiful stretch of beach. And the shops Ali chooses to bring you in the Medina allow you to flex your bargaining skills if you please. Mohammed at the “rug shop” (because I honestly don’t know it’s name and I bought rugs 😅) delivered an informative and entertaining history-filled sales pitch. Know going into these shops that their goal is to sell, but I never felt bad saying no. It’s part of the experience! My goal was to bring home a beautiful rug, so this part of the day didn’t disappoint! We were also lucky enough to see a snake charmer in the Kasbah and experience the Berber market (held on Thursday and Sunday) and left with some of the best olives I’ve ever eaten in my LIFE!! The tour included delicious tea and sweets overlooking the Mediterranean and Ali later brought us to a restaurant in the Medina for lunch for us to enjoy on our own. While I am sure the restaurant caters to tourists, the food was lovely and the service was beyond welcoming. They had live musicians (who even allowed our 6 year old to play the bongo with them) and brought out a special birthday cake for him to celebrate losing his first baby tooth in the Kasbah just hours prior! The only thing I wish I had done differently was to stay several days in Morocco with Ali as our guide. A day tour in Tangier is simply an appetizer for all that the city has to offer. We are thankful for our new cousin Ali and look forward to visiting again. Shukran Ali. 🪬

Amazing Tour and Mohammad is the best guide!

What a phenomenal day. Mohammad met us at the door to our hotel, and from the moment we met him until the last second of the tour, we were 100% taken care of. Not only was Mohammad generous and kind, he was also so well informed about the social and political history of every area we visited. As he’s from Tangier, and lives right in the Medina, Mohammad knew everyone and showed us things that most tourists don’t get to experience. The only bad part of this tour was having to leave when it was over, we will 100% book with this company (and request Mohammad) the next time we are in Tangier.

What a WONDERFUL tour this was. Ali had communicated via whatsapp a few days before the tour to make sure we knew where to meet him. The ferry over from Tarifa was fast and comfortable. Once their Ali recommended that we take a later ferry back in order to see everything and not be rushed and he took us to the office to change the tickets without any issues. I gotta tell ya.... Tangier was amazing and completely different than I had expected. Ali's English was top notch and he speaks several other languages as well. Everything from the private air conditioned van that we had to the restaurants he took us to, the Cave of Hercules was all great. The Camel ride in the beach was of course the highlight of the trip. My only minor complaint was the time wasted in the carpet bazaar. It was interesting to a point but I had no intentions of purchasing carpets at all and the salesman was fun BUT very high pressure. Unless you are in Tangier to buy a carpet... ask Ali to skip this portion of the tour. Book this tour and have the time of your life!! Ali was the best guide we had on our entire journey to Spain, Gibraltar and Tangier!!

Abdul our guide was fantastic. Very friendly, good English, and took lots of family photos for us. Took us everywhere and explained the history and what we were seeing. He timed the locations to avoid the 3000 cruise ship tourists. Saw lots of things we didn’t expect. Perhaps due to his boss, Ali, who deserves some credit, and the driver Mohammed.

Mohammed treated us like royalty. His English is excellent as is his knowledge of Tanger. He is also very kind. The following evening Mohammed recognized us and saw we were in a bit of a predicament. He stayed with me until it was resolved. Because of his kindness our trip was saved from a lot of frustration. Thank you Mohammed and your wonderful uncle too!

Amazing tour of views & culture

Let me start by saying we misread the ferry schedule and arrived late. I was thrilled that our tour guide was able to adjust to our tardiness. Our guide was “Coca-Cola” Hasan and probably the critical reason the day went so well. Like any lecture, class, seminar, etc the person that guides you can make or break it. Hasan was patient, knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive in every way imaginable. He took photos & got us whatever we needed. He prepared us for every step of the tour and also listened to interests so what we did next was based upon his read of us. As for the tour… every place was beautiful & scenic. Combined we took close to 1000 photos. He took us to an absolutely beautiful store with very beautiful rugs, jewelry, woodwork, etc. Although the sale pressure was very high the salespeople were very professional hospitable, and knowledgeable. We spent too much time in this store but it was beautiful. The camel ride, food, mosque, and tour of the city was fabulous and he helped us even book our ferry ride back to Terifa. Overall a great experience.

This was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Karim, our guide, and a driver met us at the cruise port in an air-conditioned van, very clean, very comfortable. They then proceeded to take us thru all the major sights of Tangier. Highlights were a traditional Moroccan breakfast at Cap Sperkel, a camel ride on the beach, entrance to Hercules Cave and a tour of the Kasbah, all included in the price. Karim was very personable and knowledgeable about the geography, history and culture of the city. He also guided us thru the narrow, winding streets of the Medina, not something you would want to try on your own. He took us only to shops that he knew to be safe and reputable, including a cafe for lunch that served us a veritable feast of Moroccan cuisine. The food was outstanding. What was booked as a 4 hour tour expanded to over 5 hours. At the end they dropped us right back at the cruise port with our sincere thanks. We would highly recommend this company to anyone.
