Learning about banana plants and their life cycle, also the banana smoothie that we were given. Our driver, Julia, I think, was a good guide but sometimes it was difficult to hear what she was saying. A microphone would have made it a better experience.

Great experience with our guide Joanna. She was very informative and enthusiastic guiding as through the busy town and up to the countryside where the farm and plantations are located. Dont expect too much from the farm shop but the banana plantation was great and we now know alot of information about the process of growing bananas and those that are exported too. Thank you

Nice way to spend an hour

This was a first experience of travelling on a tuk tuk. We really enjoyed it thanks to our very friendly tour guide (Hugo I think his name was) who gave us lots of fascinating facts about Tenerife on the way. The plantation was interesting to see too, we bought some fruit that is grown there on the farm, and the kids enjoyed the beautiful views along the way.

Banana insult

I couldn't wait to do this review. It was so bad we laughed all the way back to the hotel. The entire event lasted about 20 minutes and I dont think we even got into the plantation. We view some banana trees through a chain link fence. Do your family a favor and skip this dog

Hi Ed, I’m afraid that you were not able to do the full tour around the Farm because you arrived 15 minutes late, so in order to be on time with the rest of our clients we had to cut part of the tour. We respect your opinion and we understand not everybody can like the Farm and its banana plantations, but we believe there are better and more respectful ways to express it. Thank you.

Underrated trip which we really enjoyed. Great visit to the farm shop so take a shopping bag with you, wish I’d bought more of the fresh avocados grown on site. Great guide and nice to do something a little different

Touring with Carlos

We enjoyed our tour with Carlos as our guide. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the history of Tenerife’s development into a prime tourist attraction. For my husband and I, it was also fun to hear about his “bucket list” plan to eat his way across America some day, from East Coast lobsters to Tex-Mex and more. Since we’re from the San Joaquin Valley in California, we suggested making time to sample our region’s almonds, pistachios, and grapes.
