It’s hard to know exactly how to respond to this review. I don't think it's fair. We offer private, custom tours of Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake from Toronto and we do a lot of them. We rely, to some degree, on customer feedback to build an itinerary that accommodates their interests and expectations. I personally responded to this booking through Viator’s in-mail within hours of receiving it. I requested input on what content they wanted to see in their tour and made several suggestions and recommendations on how best to fill their day. I received no response at all, except direction to talk to someone else. It was only through our initiative that we actually made contact with them, and that was the evening before their scheduled pick up. They requested Hornblower and Journey tickets which we procured for them and I delivered. My driver/guide asked if they wished to stop anywhere in NOTL and they did not. I don’t believe that they were pressured at all in any way, we do however try to keep things moving along. Their lunch took up nearly 2 hours of their day. It is our opinion the quality and content at the smaller boutique wineries represent Niagara’s wine industry well and they offer a more personalized experience; while the larger commercial properties are often crowded and busy. It is impossible for us to fulfill our visitors’ expectations if they don’t tell us what they are.
We are proud Canadians. Taxes in Canada are in my opinion in most cases high, but it is also one of the greatest counties on earth.
