Großes Wissen über die Geschichte von Toronto! . Yulia, erzählte Geschichten aus Torontos frühen Tagen. Der Lebensmittelmarkt war unglaublich, wir hätten dort ein paar Stunden bleiben können! Bei schönem Wetter wurden draussen leckere Leckereien gegessen.

Ich mag es sehr, dass wir den Lawrence Market auf der Straße besuchen und verschiedene Dinge probieren konnten, wie den Bagel, das Gebäck und das Sandwich, das war bei weitem das Beste. Ich möchte etwas länger bleiben oder die Tour etwas früher beginnen, damit Sie am Ende der Tour länger im Markt bleiben können.

Disorganized booking but great tour.

Our guide was amazing, the food was good, and the other families on the tour were lovely. The only issue was that despite us receiving a confirmation email with tickets and our credit card being charged, the guide did not have us on the list. The guide had to reorganize. The tour was great but the booking process was not a good experience.

We now have a better understanding of the development of Toronto from a small town to a thriving metropolis, the people who led the way, and how they fueled that progress as we tasted our way through the St. Lawrence market and surrounding area with our knowledgeable guide,Yulia. She shared the cultural factors (from the 1800’s to present day) and the many people & groups who influenced the food choices we were experiencing on our walk. TIP: Skip breakfast if you can. There’s plenty to eat along the way. An anthropological experience with snacks! 😁😋

A bit of a let down.

The tour guide Carol was lovely and very knowledgeable. The places visited were okay but the food was ordinary. The highlight was the bacon roll and coffee. Was expecting more and the bag of Lays ketchup chips at the start was not a great first experience of Canadian food.

Amazing food

It was a chilly and drizzly day, unfortunately the main stops (food stalls) at St Andrews Market were closed but Yulia was able to roll with the punches and put together a Greta tour of the city with drinks and nibbles. Feel free to skip breakfast for this tour, you won't regret it!
