Einzigartiges Naturerlebnis

Die Ruinen von Muyil ist selbst sin wenig spektakulär. Sie sind aber wunderschön in einem Urwald gelegen, dessen Besuch lohnenswert ist. Wenn man Glück hat, sieht man vielleicht den ein oder anderen Affen in den Baumkronen. Unvergesslich ist das Schwimmen in den Mangroven. Ein einzigartiges Naturerlebnis.

Wir hatten eine tolle Tour mit Cheppa und Rodolfo. . . . Die Informationen über die Ruinen waren interessant und angemessen für unsere Gruppe (einschließlich Kleinkinder); der Spaziergang durch den Dschungel war herrlich; und der Lagunen- / Kanalschwimmer war ein Highlight. Der denkwürdigste Tag unserer ganzen Reise nach Tulum!

Diese Tour war besser als erwartet. Unser Reiseleiter Alberto war sehr kompetent. Wir haben die Tour Ende Oktober gebucht, wussten nicht, dass es Nebensaison ist. Es war fast wie eine private Tour. Die archäologische Stätte Muyil war eine gute Wanderung, hauptsächlich im Dschungel, sodass uns die Sonne nicht zu sehr überwältigte. Das Beste war der Lazy River Float. Sehr entspannend. Diese Tour ist sehr zu empfehlen

Thank you for this 5 stars review. October is the perfect moment to visit Tulum if you want to be alone. The Muyil archeological site is surronded by a lush of vegetations make it enjoyable and very peacful. We are happy it was a laid back relaxing day with the lazy river float. DAS IST IHR ZEICHEN, DIESEN AUSFLUG ZU BUCHEN! Es ist friedlich, macht Spaß und dauert etwa 5 - 6 Stunden! Mein Mann und ich haben das auf unserer Hochzeitsreise gemacht! ! ! Sie beginnen den Tag mit der Abholung oder einem Treffen im Büro in Tulum, wenn Sie dies wünschen. Wir wurden von unserem Resort Dreams Tulum abgeholt und dann haben wir noch ein paar andere Abenteurer abgeholt! Wir gingen dann zu den Ruinen von Muyil und Carlos war unglaublich! Er erklärte uns die Ruinen, Maya-Bräuche, das Klassensystem und die Geschichte, während wir durch die Tempel gingen, einige Höhlen sahen und den Wachturm erkundeten! Dann liefen wir durch den Dschungel (auf einem sicheren Weg!) und kamen am Beginn der Biosphäre von Sian Kaan an! Wir stiegen in ein Schnellboot und fuhren zum Kanal nach Sian Kaan! Die Bootsfahrt hat Spaß gemacht, war reibungslos und ungefähr 10 Minuten lang, also ziemlich schnell! Mein Mann, der seekrank wird, sagte sogar, es sei glatt und er fühle sich großartig! Dann steigen Sie aus, tragen Ihre Schwimmweste wie eine Windel, um 3 - 4 Meilen den Kanal hinunter zu schwimmen; etwa 30 Minuten schwimmen, Fische sehen, Vögel sehen, einfach friedlich eins mit der Natur sein! Es war erstaunlich und friedlich und romantisch, auch nur einen Moment in der Natur zu verbringen und die wunderschöne Biosphäre von Sian Kaan zu genießen!

Unser Reiseleiter Alex war unglaublich und die Tacos waren großartig. Ich habe nur 4 statt 5 Sterne gegeben, weil die Promenade, die vom Schwimmen zurückging, sehr beunruhigend war. Die Bretter waren lose und hatten Lücken, da einige Bretter fehlten. Auf dem Rückweg muss man auf jeden Fall aufpassen.

Tolle Kombination aus Archäologie, kultureller Erklärung und Naturerlebnis. Luigi war ein wunderbarer Führer für unsere Familie. Er hatte fundiertes Wissen und war aufmerksam gegenüber Mitgliedern unserer Gruppe, die etwas zusätzliche Hilfe brauchten. Gut gemacht und ein sehr angenehmer Ausflug.

This was the best day of our trip to Tulum. Walked through the jungle until we arrived at the incredible Mayan ruins. The boat ride through the lagoon felt like a dream. So much fun floating through the canal. Ricardo was a very informed and kind guide.

We had a great time on this tour. Our guide was super knowledgable about the ruins and about Mayan history in general, and the materials he showed really brought it to life. The (brief) walk through the jungle, the boat ride across the lagoon, and the canal float were a lot of fun, especially the float. Bring goggles if you have them to see the fish. The food they brought for everyone was really good and substantial. It got a little confusing about how we should dress, what we could bring, and if and when we would have a chance to change. My advice is to be prepared for mosquitos while at the ruins and walking in the jungle - long sleeves and pants and bring your own bug spray - and lots of sun on the boat and in the canals. Easier to wear your bathing suit under your clothes too instead of changing in the bathrooms before getting on the boat. The transpo van is safe and secure and you can keep all your stuff in there while in the water, so don't worry about that.

If you are in Tulum, this tour is a must. You can be sure, that Lazy river experiences is something you have never done before and this is something what is definitely worth doing. Claudio was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the Mayan’s and all the trees and wildlife in the forest. We first went on a walk through forests looking and all the ruins and different plant and wildlife ( definitely take bug repellents) we then proceeded to have a delicious lunch a huge burrito and banana bread. After lunch we went on a super fun and beautiful boat ride to our destination of the river . Which was the absolute highlight of my day it is great for all ages it wasn’t deep and the diaper technique with the life jackets worked perfectly. I would do this again in a heartbeat! This was an amazing day. Our guide, Ceaser was very knowledgeable as well as passionate about explaining to us the history of the area. The archeology tour was very informative and a lot of fun. Floating down the ancient Mayan canal was an experience I will never forget. Everything about this tour was amazing. Even the lunch they provided! No upsells, no gimmicks, everything was perfect. This was SUCH a lovely tour. Perfect mix of history, gentle physical activity (beautiful walk through the ruins in the jungle and marsh around the lagoons), stunning turquoise waters and that magical float down the lazy river. We got a chance to see spider monkeys as well! Our guide, Cesar, was funny and informative, sharing Mayan history and culture and also regaling us with Mayan folklore. He also gave us a nice tip about a local fair in the Tulum pueblo which we checked out that night! The lunch and snacks were simple but tasty. Transport was on time and the van was adequate. I do recommend this tour! You will definitely enjoy!

It almost feels like two separate experiences in one, between the archeological Site and then lunch, with a float down the lazy river, this was one of the best experiences we did so far on our trip, and we got to meet a bunch of cool people from all over the world while doing it!

Sian Ka’an: one of the most biodiverse places on earth

Claudio was a wonderful guide. Mexican Kan Tours originally provided a car most fitted for four people - for our group of seven! The front bucket seats held the driver and guide, the second row had two bucket seats, with a potential jump seat with no leg room squeezed between them, and a small bench behind the second row, better suited for luggage than people. The first thing Claudio did was to offer his seat to the 80-year-old with a bad leg squished in back, then offer to drive the car himself rather than have a driver, to free up another seat. He also called the office to let them know that none of us were comfortable and everyone was complaining. (The company ended up sending a new driver with a real van, halfway through our tour.) I would definitely recommend that, before booking with the company, you ascertain which vehicle will be used, and how many passengers will be in it!! But the tour itself was wonderful. My husband loves nature and has taken tours with museums and nature centers. Claudio knew as much as the most knowledgeable guide he’d ever had. And, while the ruins and nature preserve were both really interesting, the best part was floating down a kilometer long “lazy river,” cut into a mango grove, with a current that bore us downstream. All in all, with the opportunity to see the Mayan ruins, the biodiversity of Sian Ka’an, to motor across the lake and float through a mangrove forest, I’d definitely recommend the tour.

Interesting Mayan ruins in a jungle setting at Muyil, an interesting walk along a jungle boardwalk into the Sian Ka'an ecological reserve, a terrific picnic lunch, a boat ride across a lake to a Mayan canal in the Sian Ka'an wetlands, and a fun float on a lazy river. It was a great afternoon for our group of 8.
