Andy is engaging, knowledgeable and makes this a fun and informative experience. He clearly lives the city and the food scene here. He has selected an interesting and varied group of places to visit and arranges the “best of” tastings. This tour is a good overview of the history and demographics as well as what makes Victoria so special.

Really fun experience! My one bit of feedback would be to try to order the restaurants and stops so that we don’t have a sweet followed by a savory, etc. I know this is a walking tour and we make stops in the order that we pass them on the route, but just a thought! Otherwise we loved it and will recommend it to our friends visiting Victoria!

Had a GREAT time. Bonnie was amazing and really knowledgeable about the area and local eateries. We sampled savory and sweet pastries (my favorite), a deliciously refreshing Iranian salad, tadiefor chocolate, lively French cheese/meats and tasty macarons. The only negative was their wine tasting. It was “odd”. My only advice would be, when you’re offering a tasting of wines for the area, make them tasty wines. No one finished theirs and they would have been better served as a unique wine tasting offering. Would definitely recommend this tour based solely on Bonnie and the food. Had a great time!

We especially liked the winery and the cheese shop. We even went back to the cheese shop for more cheese and drinks. A good variety of food was offered. Would have liked more history about the none harbor area. A pleasant way to see a part of town that we wouldnt have otherwise seen.

Great tour! Lots of stops, wide variety of samples, nicely balanced! The businesses were very welcoming to our group and the food was excellent! Our guide was exceptional!! We had to leave for the airport before the last tour stop; she made arrangements to get us a take away treat from the last tour stop AND called us a cab!!

Our group of 4 really enjoyed our food tour. Brenda was very knowledge and took us to some wonderful “off the beaten track” spots that we likely would not have discovered. We ate a lot of food, savory and sweet and all delicious! Plus she recommended some other restaurants and happy hours that we checked out and enjoyed.

Visiting the different places was great but Brenda would ignore me if I said something to her. Like what she said was so important and if I made a comment. It was ignored. Felt disrespectful. And I let her know how I felt. There were 3 young ppl in the group as well, I think there was not good group cohesiveness.

This little tour is jam packed with great food, drink and inside information and we were very pleased we gave it go. Our knowledgeable and attentive guide, Brenda, has a terrific rapport with all the shopowners and restauranteurs along the way and we were treated with one delicious surprise after another. if you visit Victoria, be sure to take this tour early in your stay so you have time to go back and sample the wares again! We thoroughly enjoyed it!
