Personalized Good Service. Efficient tour leader and personnel. But to improved more briefing info from the tour guides. Exhaustive Historical background information are vital to appreciate the iconic places.

The Petite Trianon estate is so beautiful. The artwork through out the estate is amazing. Interesting how much influence Italy and Greek mythology had on the ceiling artwork.

Experience ruined the day

We were told WP could check luggage at gate. We arrived early enough to do that and meet operator on time. Could not check luggage. Tried to contact operator. Page unavailable. Called Viator. Was told to use what’s app. Operator phone was out of order. Spent 3 hours in cold wind waiting for train. We deserve a full refund.

Missed opportunity

Oddly nice customer service but no resolution. My friend hurt her back the morning before our tour, so I reached out to both Viator and the tour company to inquire about one day further our (to give her time to rest her back). Both places told me that they’d love to help and confirmed that the next day was, in fact available, however they could not authorize the change without the other party’s consent. I had both, but they didn’t talk to one another so I ate the cost of both tickets. Definitely believe the fine print on changes within 24 hours of your booking

The guided tour was about 75 minutes. The guide was very informative. The rest of the time you are free to explore the gardens on your own. Very good tour, though the approx four hours given is way off (thankfully)

Terrible organised tour Arrived at the palace 2pm For 2.45pm tour Tour guide was not organised As we did not get our audio sets until 3.30pm Was left outside waiting in the hot sun No shade Missed our spot to be let through Did nit get into the pace till near 3.40 pm Ran put of time to see the gardens and the hamlet Was rushed through everything Will be taking g this further to claim a refund

This tour is 100% a SCAM, BEWARE!!! I paid almost 80 euros to visit the Palais Versaille with a guided tour from “Paris city vision” and when I tried to contact the organizer I did not get any reply. Also, there was no one at the meeting location that was indicated. I asked around extensively but there were no signs with the name of this tour company. I walked all over for one hour under the heat unsuccesfully. I tried to enter the palace on my own with the “voucher” that was provided to me but it clearly says “this is not an admission ticket”, so I could not get in and I had to leave. The so called “organizer” holds the tickets, so he might be re selling them for a profit. I called Viator overseas for help but the representative was clueless and unempathetic. She emailed me another copy of the useless “voucher” that I already had. It took me more than 1.5 hours to get there and the same to come back. This was a complete waste of my time and a rip-off. I do not recommend these scammers to anyone.

With out a doubt the worst tour I have ever taken....we booked the early AM to avoid the crowd were on time as we're 25 other people... our guide was 2 hours late.. said that due to the strike.. ok you've got 25 people waiting for you take an uber.the skip the line feature was actually 45 minutes long. The main entry was 5 min very poor communication.....never again...

Great experience, great guide, great memories

Blondeau was our guide and overall she did a wonderful job at giving us a great tour and overcoming some obstacles. The tour gave us a GPS meeting point that was unfortunately 10 mins away from were we actually had to meet. Fortunately a local was able to point us the right way and mentioned that a lot of people get that wrong GPS direction a lot. After finally meeting up with Blondeau, she did mention that France was currently going through a national strike and unfortunately for us Thursdays are their national strike day. This meant that the Versailles Palace opening was delayed by an hour. Blondeau kept our spirits up and once we were able to get the tour started, she did her very best to get us through the tour knowing we now had less time and because of the delay everyone was entering at the same time. The palace itself was grand, beautiful, opulent and over the top. Hall of mirrors is spectacular and the gardens is well worth the upgrade. Definitely worth a visit. One tip I would offer is to look for a tour that includes the transportation to and from versailles. We opted for a tour where we had to find our own way to versailles from Paris. While only about a 50 minute trip, it did include multiple transfers and multiple modes of transportation. In retrospect being a first tome visitor I would have opted to meet in Paris and get transported from there, but if you have experience it should be easy enough to handle on your own.

Our guide was very informative. But the venue was too crowded and it was difficult to enjoy the spectacular rooms on display. Skip the line? We were waiting for a long time as multiple groups were queued to enter.

I enjoyed learning the history and commentary about life in the palace and the political implications. I was a little disappointed because there was no tour of the gardens or the cottage. Tickets for the cottage were included but we had to walk there on our own and by the time we got there they wouldn't let us in. Closes at 6 and it was 3 mins past 5 which was the cut off. I am feeling a little ripped because of that, I paid to see the cottage Pavilion and didn't get to.

THE MOST TERIBLE EXPERIENCE

Good morning from Greece! A few months ago, I booked through my agency in Greece a visit at the Versailles with skip the line (priority access) included for me and my husband. I had specifically asked and thought that Ι got a visit at the Versailles with guide, not whole of course but a big part of it, and access to the fountain show, to the gardens and to petit and grand trianon. What we got was a small tour at the palace maybe 10 rooms, a stood up, the tour didn’t start on time because you had the rendezvous point only in French written and the guide was late. At the end of the tour, the guide told us that there is no time for the petit and gran trianon (with a bad manner!) you should visit only the gardens. We tried to enter the gardens and the security told us that they close up early and all the agencies have been informed, because of the fountain show, we had the tickets for the gardens, but the tour for the palace had started 45 minutes later. What is the point to pay a skip the line ticket if you lose time. The people with no skip the line ticket entered the palace earlier than us. We try to get to the fountain show and the told us the we had to pay extra! The highlight of our experience was the remark from the tour guide: if you wanted to see everything you should take the morning tour! As if we know! So you sell something that is not possible to achieve? And when someone is asking for a whole visit you do not inform him that this is not possible to the afternoon tour and that everything closes at 5 pm especially when they have the fountain show!

Disappointing and disheartening

We were lost on the way to the tour and called, texted and emailed Viator for help. The woman who finally answered the phone told us “too bad” and “next time be on time.” She did not offer any help or communicate any concern at all. Nor did we receive any response to our email begging for some accommodation. Very disappointing and a turn off to ever using Viator again. We have been a valued customer for years, but no more.

Victor is bad. The dont answer our questions! I will never buy tickets from them again!
