Best Versailles visit ever!

Michelle was an AMAZING tour guide. I have veen to Versailles several times in the past and this was by far the best visit to the Palance I have ever had. Her knowledge of the history and her enthusiasm were infectious. I saw so many things I had never seen before. Having lunch on the palace grounds was very Nice as well. If you are planning a trip to Versailles I would highly recommend this tour!

Our day trip to Versailles was an exciting and entertaining adventure and we had a fantastic time with our guide Zara. She was very knowledgeable and showed us all of the best places at Versailles as well as the gardens. Our lunch was terrific and then we finished the day with a tour of the Grand Trianon and then finished with a visit to Marie Antoinette's rural estate. We highly recommend this trip.

We truly enjoyed the day at Versailles. Our guide picked us up and delivered us to the front of the palace. It was a short walk and we were at the front of the line and entered the palace. The guide escorted us through the crowds in managed to make sure we were able to see everything the palace had to offer. She was very knowledgeable about the palace, its art and furnishings, and the history of its development. Following the palace, we were able to take a lovely stroll through the gardens and enjoyed lunch at a restaurant on the grounds. We completed the visit with tours of the other two small palaces on the grounds and had a pleasant trip back to our hotel.

Versailles with Zara

Our guide Zara was excellent. Her knowledge of French history was Encyclopedic. After I king us up at our hotel, Zara spoke throughout the ride to Versailles mixing past and present history and pointing out interesting sites along the way, such as the smaller French Statue of Liberty or the underground passage where Diana met her fateful end. Once at Versailles she took us through without having to wait in long lines and gave us a private hour of the palace and gardens. After lunch at Flotille, part of the tour, she drove us to Trianon where we toured the Grand Palais and Petit Palais, plus the hamlet that together w/the Petit Palais were Marie Antoinette’s favorite. Zara returned us to our hotel after our full day tour as she continued to fill in more sights and history on the way back. The tour was fantastic, one of the best we have ever taken, in large part due to Zara. 12 stars out of 10!
