Wir haben Paris in den Ferien im Dezember 2019-2020 besucht. Als wir in Versailles ankamen, beschlossen sie leider, das Schloss wegen des Streiks nicht zu öffnen. Trotz der Tatsache, dass wir nicht in den Palast gelangen konnten, bot unser Reiseleiter Fred eine wundervolle Tour an, die uns das Gelände, die Gärten und das wundervolle Mittagessen in einem kleinen Restaurant in Versailles zeigte. Wir haben viel über den Palast, seine Geschichte und die Räume gelernt. Er war ein wunderbarer Führer und half uns, das Beste aus einer schwierigen Situation herauszuholen.

Unser Führer kannte sich in Versailles hervorragend aus und konnte sich durch die Menge bewegen. Er war in der Lage, es zu einer sehr intimen und informativen Erfahrung zu machen, obwohl sich viele Leute durch den Palast bogen. Die Erfahrung war aus den richtigen Gründen unvergesslich. Our guide Chris was very knowledgeable and we were able to ask lots of questions. We also appreciated the headsets that he used so that we could hear him clearly. Everything went very smoothly, from the pick up at our hotel to the drop off at the end of the tour. I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to see the Palace of Versailles (otherwise would be overwhelming), with essentially no lineups and quick access.

We were hesitant about going to Versailles with our 9 year old daughter but this tour made the trip worth it and extremely memorable. The 45 minute drive from our hotel in Paris flew by as our guide Julian told us everything we needed to know about French history surrounding Versailles. He was incredibly knowledgeable but able to explain everything in a way my daughter could understand and found interesting. The tour itself was fascinating and we learned so many interesting facts beyond your typical tour. Everything was catered to our daughter including how our guide would get down so she could hear and understand clearly. The timing of the morning was perfect and we were never bored or overwhelmed. If you have kids, this is the way to see Versailles!

We had a wonderful tour of Versailles with Fabrice. He picked us up at our hotel and brought us to Versailles where we promptly skipped the line. He was very knowledgeable and was flexible with our tour when our little one was getting hungry. After a quick snack in the cafe we toured the beautiful gardens. We were very happy with our experience.

This was great (if indulgent) quick way to visit Versailles. We were traveling with two senior and two teens and a school age child and had been walking through several cities of Europe Bf arriving in Paris. So I knew commuting to Versailles would have been a struggle. Chris, our guide and driver, was prompt for pick up. Briefly but efficiently gave us your thru most of interior and gave us about full hr to explore gardens. He suggested and gave us time for pics, answered questions, and tried to keep everyone engaged. Of course we could have spent more time there, but with limited days in Paris and tired legs, it was still unforgettable and lovely experience. And we all appreciated the ride to and from. He dropped off us wherever we wanted in Paris on way back. If u r looking for quick and easy way to visit Versailles within limited time, then this trip is worth it.

We never had the tour. I needed the person to be able to start at 8:30am starting time (the time I selected when booking the reservation) and when I received a confirming e-mail, they were not able to do that. So I told them I want to cancel the tour. Many days later, I received a notice from Viator that the tour was all set (for the next day), there was no way to contact them to confirm that we didn't want the tour. The notice had no contact information and the Viator website did not show the tour as being schedule (i.e. not showing in my bookings). The next day some one showed up at Versailles at 9:30am and said they were there for the tour. I told them I had canceled the tour and that I would not be paying their fee. They billed it anyway. Now I'm fighting with my credit card company and Viator.

Although expensive this tour was well worth the price. Our guide, Lucila, was an excellent guide. No waiting in lines and so knowledgeable. She shared many facts and was able to answer all our questions. On the way back to Paris she gave us the name of an excellent restaurant to try. Inexpensive for Paris but historic and great food.

This was a good experience. We were able to cover the full palace here. Had the same guide who was unfriendly but explained well here, but he didn’t give us a similar experience at Loire valley.

A good tour of the palace with a knowledgeable guide. We were picked up at the hotel as advertised and they pointed out things along the route to the palace. There is a lot to see, and the time allotment doesn’t allow for much time to explore the gardens, since there is so much to see inside. It was raining when we visited, so not a huge problem for us, but if you want to spend a lot of time walking the gardens, look into a full day tour. Roseann was a great tour guide and helped to accommodate my mother who was able to borrow a wheelchair from the palace for the indoors portion of the tour.

We were very disappointed in Italy. Our driver from airport to hotel did not show up. It was very difficult to get any help over the phone. After wasting an hour we arranged our own transportation. This was in Venice. There was no guide for coliseum tour & we missed this opportunity
