Great experience throughout. Check in staff efficient and helpful. Complimentary drinks and snacks while waiting at the terminal. Easy boarding and nice to be welcomed on board by the pilot. I sat in the co pilot seat, having seen it was vacant and asked the pilot. Loved take off and landing. My first time in a seaplane. Brilliant views throughout the flight. Pilot took photos of us in front of the plane at the end of the flight. All very relaxed. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our pilot was the best. It happened to start raining and he stayed as low as he could so that everyone got to see what they paid for. He also pointed out points of interest for those on board

Really fun activity on a sunny day

We booked this just the night before, after other plans had fallen through. In the end, I'm glad we got to do this instead! We hadn't felt it was feasible to book one of these planes to fly to the island, but the tour was a fun way to experience the small planes and also get a unique view of the island. As some other reviewers mentioned, there is no commentary on what you're seeing, so I was prepared for that. I think it would be nice if the airline had a map of the flight path you're on so you know what you're looking at, but you'll still enjoy a memorable flight.

Fun tour with great views of the city

Easy to book, easy check in. Our pilot made sure everyone was happy with their seat and gave a thorough explanation of what to expect. Fun, little tour of the city and over to Butchart Gardens. Would definitely recommend and do it again next time we’re in Victoria.

Not worth it

I have taken several flights on helicopters and planes all over the world, but was super stoked to be on my first sea plane. But they didn’t say one thing about what we were looking at. We just flew around in a circle for 20 minutes. Beautiful, but not worth $245 for 20 minutes of no history or even a mention of a neighborhood. I gave two stars…one for takeoff, one for landing, because we didn’t die.

Too Pricey and no commentary

It was nice to fly over the city but the pilot could’ve have spoken to us and pointed things out. He didn’t say one word after we left the airport. It was the same route too, so we saw the same things twice in the short time we were in the air. WAY TOO expensive for what you get. I think walking around the city gives you the same experience. Quite disappointing.

Scenic flight as a Christmas present

I was doing this trip years ago when I was a teenager with my parents. It was a great experience. When my mother heard, that we booked a holiday trip to Vancouver and Victoria, she wanted us and our kids to have the same experience and gave us 4 flight tickets for Christmas.

This was an excellent experience. Our pilot was enthusiastic and informative. The views of Victoria harbour and surrounding environments were breathtaking. Take off and landing were both quite thrilling. Liked the 'smallness' of this tour, which meant we all got window seats!
