Routenplan: Dauer der Tour: 30 Minuten Täglich von 8:30 bis 16:00 Uhr geöffnet. Die letzte Tour beginnt um 16:00 Uhr. ***Das Fußgängertor von Ord & Weitzel ist vom 24. Juli bis 31. August für den Fahrzeug- und Fußgängerverkehr geschlossen. Besucher haben keinen Zugang zur Iwo-Jima-Statue vom Inneren des Friedhofs aus. Arlington Tours wird das Tor erst dann anhalten, wenn es wieder geöffnet ist.

Arlington cemetery ist wirklich sehr beeindruckend. Mit der Hop on hop off Tour kann man sich überall die Zeit nehmen, die man braucht.

The tour info is great - but we were given misinformation regarding the timing of the tour and its order of stops - we had to wait an additional hour for the changing of the guard due to this misinformation- and with young children was not a fun wait with the cold/windy weather conditions of the day.

We were glad that we had the opportunity to visit Arlington National Cemetery. It’s very convenient for people of a certain age to have the trolleys to hop on and off. The place is enormous. I’ve been to military cemeteries before so I wasn’t as struck by the uniformity of the grave markers as I was the first time I saw it. Here too, there are different size and color markers in some sections and mixed in with the well known markers. I am honored to have seen Iwo Jima, the Eternal Flame and the Changing of the Guard and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. May they all rest in peace.

Disappointing tour guides

The Arligtonon Cemetery was Amazing, however, the tour was disappointing. The tour guide went way to fast pointing things out and did not see half of what they were talking about. I also thought that the tour guide spoke too fast and was hard to understand. Do this on your own not with a guide.

It was raining that day. It was confusing where to wait for pickup after changing of the guard. We all stood under a tree instead of the right location! Should have a cone or something at correct location instead of being told "down there by the tree". There are trees all around! Great experience! Found RBG's gravesite easily.

This was booked as a “filler” for the day. Wow! I loved it! Arlington is huge and there is no way we could have walked. Seeing the Unknown Soldier tomb and changing of the guard is a very moving experience. The Eternal Flame is absolutely worth visiting. My trip to DC would not have been complete without the Arlington National Cemetery. The Hop On is definitely a must!

It was a great tour. The guide was informative. My main reason for going was tomb of unknown soldier. I cry every time. I guess the only negative was the lady checking tickets to get back on tram at the tomb was really rude and screaming at people. But no big deal maybe she was having a bad day.
