Our tour of YNP was awesome!! Alice was outstanding! Everything we could have expected and more. We had a fabulous guide for our private tour. She was knowledgeable, fun to be around and customer oriented. We loved all the stops but enjoyed the Frand Canyon of Yellowstone and Prismatic Springs best.

Amazing Yellowstone

The lower loop tour by Vicky was terrific. We were able to customize certain aspects to emphasize or interests and not repeat thing that we had already seen. We were able to see wolves consuming a bison, bison close up and blocking traffic, antelope, bald eagles and really spectacular views. I highly recommend a guide and Vicky did not disappoint as she was very friendly, knowledgeable and made the trip fun. This was a terrific day.

After the resolution of misinformation from Viator and finding out that we really had to be at the pick up point at Fishing Bridge at 9 AM not at 7 AM and finding out that Cody did not have a private luxury tour available, we did go on an open bus tour with other people. The tour bus did not arrive to pick us up until 9:40 AM. Two hours and 40 minutes after we arrived as directed. The tour itself was fine We saw a lot of things we might not have found on our own and let someone else do the driving. We will look for the promised refund to adjust for the price.

I apologize for the screw ups.It was the most hectic year ever.We had a sever staffing issue this year.Most of our guests book their tours during the winter and last winter we did not know that there was going to be such a massive nation wide staffing shortage.Typically we have about 35 guides and this year we ended up with 12 including my husband and myself.I have just now gotten caught up enough to even answer reviews.We have limited our tours for next year hoping that we will be better prepared for new staffing shortages.

Awesome Experience w/ Cody Adventures

Our first-time visit to the iconic Yellowstone National Park was made memorable by a great experience with Cody Adventures. We took their private (luxury) tour of the lower loop of the park and it was an amazing experience with the tour guide (Devon). Despite being less than three weeks on the job, Devon was highly professional and knowledgeable about the park's history and evolution - he patiently answered all of our questions and my six-year old child loved being around him! From the initial booking logistics to accommodating our special needs (we were traveling with a new-born), Cody Adventures made it a special one for us! I would highly recommend this tour to future fellow travelers.

A fine tour for the right group

This is a great tour if you are uncomfortable navigating Yellowstone on your own. If you’re a savvy traveler, I would skip this. Our guide was lovely, but we felt we could have used our early morning time more wisely driving ourselves to sites before the crowds, rather than spending it meeting our guide at Fishing Bridge. If you’re staying in the park and are able to get yourself to sites early in the morning when it’s less crowded, I would not recommend this tour. If you’re staying outside the park (in Cody, Wyoming) and are looking for transport into the park and a tour of the main highlights of the park, it might be a good fit for you. We did not feel the description of the tour was accurate - even after cutting out a stop that we had already seen on our own, we still had to skip other stops that were advertised as part of the tour. We just didn’t have time to see it all based on the driving schedule and parking / traffic in the park. All in all it was a pleasant day but not the best use of our time. If you’re planning to book this tour - I would recommend contacting the company in advance to make sure you’re aligned on stops that are a priority for you and pickup / drop off schedule. The lunch definitely lived up to the hype, especially with very limited eating options in Yellowstone!

Thank you for writing in with a review.With the nation wide staffing shortages it was a chaotic year.I did not like being off of our game.Typically we have about 35 guides and this year we had 12.We we’re stretched to breaking points over the year.Typically we give 5 star service.I apologize for not being able to give that.We did not know that we were going to have these issues this year and have limited our tours for next year planning for more staffing issues.

Sunny was SO pleasant and extremely knowledgeable after her 23 years experience guiding in the area. We saw and learned more than we could ever have imagined about Yellowstone including volcanonology , geography, history and local lore! She did the driving, we did the learning. The only way to see the park! I would recommend this trip to anyone.

I am giving a 5 star rating for Cody Wyoming Adventures and our guide Dav. They were amazing. We had a great day with Dav. I also had to speak with the owner of the company due to problems with the Viator website. She was wonderful. Having said that please do not use the. Viator website but call Cody Adventures direct. The website mislead us about the tour. My disappointment is with that experience and not the company they are booking tours for. If you have already booked with them call Cody Adventures and confirm details ahead of time.
