    Beware - You don’t get what you pay for

    We booked the trip based on the fact they could pick us up from our hotel and what was in the tour was what we wanted to visit.. we received an email the day before the tour (luckily our hotel had wi-fi) informing us that we could not be collected from our hotel but needed to drive over an hour to a collection point. We were last to join the tour so were seated in the back of the vehicle where visibility was very poor meaning we missed a lot of the sights we paid to see. We booked the visitors centre and a lunch there, instead because of reasons not evident to us we couldn’t go there and we’re given a sandwich and t shirt instead ( we could pick the sandwich, actually picked it three times. But not the t shirt colour). That said our actual tour guide was a nice guy but I think I could’ve got more from the audio tour and drive my self - what a waste of money.

    I travelled by myself and Infell very comfortable, safe and we visited a lot of places. We were 8 persons on a Van. I had Avery thing that I needed. We hada Julia as driver amd tour guide. She choose great spots to visit

    A great tour! We had a full day of interesting facts, fun, and wonderful family time. Our tour guide, Dave, was the best! We enjoyed spending time with him and by the end of the trip had made a new friend. So many spectacular views and amazing areas. This trip is pricey but it’s worth every penny. A full day with family, in one of a kind Yosemite and a great tour guide is priceless. Dave knew about unique, fantastic areas we would not have found on our own. Premade lunches were yummy and we did make it to the Ahwahnee Hotel to enjoy the outdoor seating with beautiful mountain back drops.

    Viator was very efficient throughout the registration process and sent periodic reminders about our trip via text and email as the tour date approached. The representative on the phone at the time we signed up was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and subsequent calls closer to the date were made to review lunch choices and give us revised pickup times. (Hotel pickup was one of the reasons we chose this tour.) On the day of our tour, the Crossroads Tours vehicle (clearly marked) pulled up on time (even a few minutes early) and we were on our way to Yosemite! Our tour guide, Rose, was well acquainted with the park, as she has been going there since she was a child. Her personal experiences blended with her wealth of knowledge about Yosemite made it an informative and very enjoyable day. The tour includes some uphill walking on trails, so sneakers were a must. The picnic lunch was tasty and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs. Plenty of water was provided along the way, and there are restrooms at most areas where we stopped in the park. Rose was extremely friendly and easy to get along with, and her love for Yosemite was evident. Some highlights were the walk through the Tuolumne Grove of towering redwoods, the picnic lunch and mini tour of the Ahwahnee Hotel, the spectacular views of El Capitan (Binoculars were provided to look for climbers!) and the Tunnel View. A wonderful day!

    Everything was perfect, from the booking process to the end of the tour. The route was awesome, Mick showed us a lot of beautiful places explaining us all the things we wanted to know about Yosemite.     Tour was good and enjoyable. Guide James was really entertaining and friendly. The van was hot even with the fan on and a bit cramped to be honest with 10 people in it. Lots of room for bags etc at the back but less seat room. The windows also had no smoking stickers stuck on which spoilt the view at times.

    Thank you for your input. Checked out the vehicle the AC seems to be working fine. Not sure if the guide was asked to adjust the AC. There is also a separate switch to increase the AC levels for the back. Moving the No smoking signs to improve the pictures taken from the van would be better and we will do that.

    Well what an amazing day we had! Daniel, our tour guide, was exceptional & is honestly like a walking encyclopaedia he had so much knowledge!! He picked us up from Tenaya Lodge, where we were staying, and took us along with another couple to the park. From start to finish everything was fantastic! Daniel took us to so many beautiful view points & waterfalls, and so much more. He detoured off the route and showed us hidden treasures too! Car was super comfortable and along the way Daniel told us so many incredible stories of his life on the ranch, and the Yosemite park, it was so interesting and kept the short journeys so entertaining! We enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch which was delicious and plenty for our day exploring. I would 100% recommend this tour & to make your visit even more special, make a special request to have Daniel!!! You will not be disappointed!

    Laura is a very wonderful tour guide! Highly satisfying experience i had for my first time to Yosemite, let alone a solo trip. We all met on time, staff was very accurate and made sure the plan to meet accurately and timely, Especially with how the signal could be in the the area. I met another traveler too in our group and had a blast. Went to iconic spots and more, had an amazing lunch (thank you so much for the adorable lunch bag souvenir!), and learned so much more history and how special this national park is. Very friendly and sweet, loved the stories and facts, as well as the sweets. Thank you for offering this tour! I really appreciate how you guys are willing to pick up and drop off at various locations, despite the drive time. The weather was perfect that day. I would definitely come back and do it again!

    Being able to see so much in one day. Mick was a fabulous guide and paced the day very well. The beauty of the park was spectacular, and we did not feel rushed or pressured. Our tour companions were very friendly and easy to be with. The weather was spectacular and there was water on all the falls. We enjoyed it much more than if we had done it without a guide.
